Is it as cringe worthy as that awful color font fail?

Even after my cataract surgery I couldn't read it. Probably I should feel lucky.

No one is even suggesting that. But it would not be a surprise to see the pressure mount to move on Wardle prematurely. The last thing the program needs is to get into the nasty cycle of rebooting every 3-4 years. That's the fastest track to irrelevancy.

Wardle at Green Bay only went from 14 to 15 to 18 wins his first 3 years. The fact that the "F" word is already out there, it's out there, warranted or not. The pressure only ratchets up from here, and the louder it gets the harder it is for the admin to ignore. And the fact it's already started at this early point is pathetic and reflects really poorly on the Bradley fan base.

Rebooting every 4 years is not the road to irrelevance. If you would like to see what that road looks like, ask all the Evansville fans around here for directions. They are taking it, apparently elated about it, and are willing to tell everyone about it being the best way.

While I agree you shouldn't settle for years on end if a clear direction for the program hasn't been established. I think Wardle deserves a solid 5 years...4 at the least. Mainly because if i recall correctly (and let me know if i'm wrong); he basically had to build this roster from the ground up after all the Geno Ford players transferred. Now I would expect a differently had players like Josh Cunningham stuck around.

Appears to me you are the only one talking about it and no one in Evansville really cares what you have to say.

It's very clear no one in Evansville cares about hiring a coach to make the program relevant.

I agree that coaches should be given 4-5 years, not 3-4. But I do think most times you can tell in year 3 if the coach is going to be really good. Specific to Bradley, they are in a big hole, but they have some things several Valley schools don't. History. Large, invested fan base, tied partially to that history. Athletic budget. A great coach should have a good chance of being successful there. And I think you'll at least be able to see it coming by year 3.

You should add close proximity to lots of really good basketball players providing they have a coach who can evaluate talent, and sell the experience. The problem is that the fan base needs to see progress so it brings other fans back and produces excitement and anticipation.

I think proximity to basketball talent is overrated. It's 2016. Not like most people aren't found by everyone if they are good. And while half of people say they like to be "close to home" another half would rather "go away and find themselves" in college.

What would be nice here is if we could selectively block the posts of some individuals.
