69-67 MSU, ISU inbounds with 4.9 seconds left, Jake Kelly hits layup and is fouled. Refs take loooooooooooong time to see how much time needs to be put back on clock. .6 put on clock, Jake Kelly hits free throw, ISU leads 70-69, MSU throws ball in, game over.

Can someone explain exactly what the hell happened here?

My only question is if the game was deemed not to be over and ISUb's bench comes on to the court, why nothing called there? Am I missing something?

Having not seen the game, did ISUb have reason to think the game was over? If so, leaving the bench would be understandable and not penalized.

When the foul was not called immediately it should be negated the clock is irrelevent he didnt call it until after first review to call a foul in college history.

Bears play by play guy had it right away so I don't see how the benches couldn't have. Bears play by play guy thought they were going to the monitor to make sure the foul occurred before time ran out...

so you're saying the refs called a foul AFTER they had reviewed the play on tv? I can't buy that. They were reviewing to see how much time needed to be put back on the clock after the basket went thru. Deciding a foul occurred, and then enforcing it after a tv review is crazy, the foul was called when Kelly made the shot, not after the refs reviewed it on tv.

It was called immediately. He called it and counted the basket as the horn went off. The review had nothing to do with whether or not there was a foul.

We played like dog piss and were due to lose a game at some point. ISUb will get their fair share of losses since they have yet to play anyone worth a damn on the road in conference. They'll lose at least three if not four road games.
