A decent preview but of lacking...the writer clearly doesn't know McIntosh isn't playing. Per usual, mid major injuries don't matter. However, I suspect Northwestern's next few games don't count for their NCAA resume because their leading scorer is injured...unless they win of course.

I don't know, looking around the country....I know quality wins are what really matter, but sometimes we do forget that wins are wins are wins. If WSU/ISU don't lose to any of the 8 stooges, that's not nothing. Everyone else is punting away stupid games.

The winner is definitely alive in the at-large board. The bubble is lighter than people think - tons of ACC teams on there, and there's not enough wins to go around to keep them all on the bubble.

Both teams are capable of winning a few games in the tournament.

Wichita just isn't consistent enough, especially on D, to feel insanely confident about it. When they're dialed in, they can play with anyone. Getting them dialed in has been an adventure this season.

Good wins seem to always outweigh bad losses. It's almost gotten to the point that if you are a P5 team, it doesn't matter who you lose to if you can win a couple of your decent to good games.

I really think all the pressure is on WSU in this one. They are at home and ISUr is without arguably there best player. Can they handle that pressure? Especially their young guys?

Looking forward to this one.

Stop being the weakling standing behind his buddies pointing fingers and shouting, but secretly praying nothing actually happens. It's way too cliche of you.

My argument is this... Wichita has two advantages Saturday... no MM and the environment will be awesome. But your team has performed poorly when playing good competition. Which will win out? My argument there is that the Birds can get it done because they already shown they can beat good teams (yours). While Wichita has fallen flat every time.

If you'd like to continue the discussion on this point, please feel free.. otherwise quit running behind your friends and provoking just to provoke. College basketball fans can actually discuss without the hate. Several on your board are quite good at it. Follow their example.

I hope you respond in a basketball related manner. Thanks!

I'll call you out whenever and wherever I want. Don't like it? Don't read it. Your infatuation with bringing in team message board stuff here is mesmerizing and yet sad at the same time.

The Massey ratings thing was hilarious. You picked a ratings system you thought would win your argument, but then you forgot to look at the ratings of each team in your argument. That was the funniest stuff I've seen in a while!!

Well, I guess since WSU has 1 more loss in the column, you could look at it that way. If WSU played at home first, the situations would be reversed.

I would think both teams are feeling it because a loss by either would eliminate them from NCAA at-large discussions.

Given WSU's track history over the last 6 years of pressurized moments, I'll default to them for knowing how to handle the situation. Illinois State may have older players but they haven't played in many big games.

Wait, did you just try and call me out for bringing in team message board stuff and then in the very next breath bring in team message board stuff? In your words... hypocrite.....

And the massey argument I won. Hurley knows it, and so do you. Please, PLEASE tell me where that went south for me...
