Unfortunately, I'll have an extremely bitter taste about this one as the officiating was simply inexcusable. Obviously I'm biased but it really felt like SIU's aggressive D was allowed to get away with much more than UNI. That flagrant foul on Green from being fouled by Brown was one of the strangest and dumbest calls I've seen. I just don't understand in what world that is a flagrant when the contact and foul was 100% initiated by the other party.
If your elbow connects with a defenders chin, you can’t be surprised that gets called a flagrant, intentional or not. Green had his elbow up pretty high when he was driving and Brown was just trying to keep pace. I don’t think you can say it was 100% Brown.

Salukis looking more and more like they won't be a PIG team. Hell, they might be challenging for a top 3 spot. Great stuff by Mullins and his team. They are going to become a real force in short order.
It'll be Evansville and Illinois State. And then two of Valpo/Indiana State/Drake/Missouri State.

Okay so we have a sweep of one PIG lock and head to head on all accept Missouri State. I like our chances if we can finish but we have done an awful job of winning on the road. I think Evansville is our only MVC road win so far this year... Also both of those games were WAY too close for comfort. This game shouldn't have been that close and that has me worried. Lickliter already has the Aces trending upward it seems.

Really? they were absolutely destroyed against Drake at home just midweek. Valpo was terrible after they built a huge lead. Evansville looks atrocious and has all valley season.
