The way I look at him if he keeps this up he's a far better prospect than Green (who I admittedly have never been that high on). From what i've seen Mosley an efficient shooter, TAKES good shots, rebounds, and is growing as a distributor... I'm curious to see him go up against some better wing defenders like Williamson/Uguak + whoever Bradley decides to throw at him.
He's a prototypical NBA guard size wise, so I'm sure he'll start to generate attention by this off season if he remains as productive. His efficiency is off the charts right now [ I think #2 in the country via Kenpom] but he's been that way [ efficient] from early on in HS. Has always been a 50%+ fg, 40%+ 3pt. and 80% +ft , but unlike many HS kids those numbers haven't varied as the competition has gotten tougher . But again he has to maintain it for a longer stretch for consideration . Like you Blers, I've looked at his game vs Greens this time last year [ both sophs] and he is better in almost every statistical number offensively and is just a more versatile player as he rebounds better, defends better, and passes more readily. But Green has 2 years on record at a high level, so lets see.
Last years team had too many guys who wanted to be the guy, but really weren't up to it; I saw indications that some were a bit putoff by how confident offensively Mosley was , although that's silly given how little he forces shots and doesn't demand the ball all the time. He needed to grow up a bit effort wise, practice wise, defense wise, and that plus the team dynamics held him back a bit as a frosh although his stats still were the same 50/40/80 as a frosh. But he's flourishing with Ford having total confidence in him and in a system where he shares the focus with Prim and then has capable shooters around him. He's a little loose with the ball at times, but it's pretty hard to find much in his game not to like.
