It is clear AJ Green spent all of his time off last season on offense.

If they wanted to protect, you wouldn't have 3 of the top 5 opening on the road early in the year. As far as the Bears, if Sharp is unavailable, I think we struggle at Illinois State; might even if he plays, just haven't been impressed with this team to date. Pieces are there, but just unpredictable.

Better to play on the road this week than in February after a team has a chance to figure it out.

I'm thrilled we're getting the trip to Peoria out of the way, we always seem to have trouble there and we're in a much better place than they are right now.

Guessing most turned off Evansville/SIU in the 2nd half while the other games started. Shamar Givance was a man possessed and almost carried Evansville to a win. Had an easy 31 and I thought they could have gone to him more. Was happy every time he didn't shoot or go to the rim.

Luckily for SIU a 32-15 first half lead held up and Marcus Domask is good. Not gonna complain about a road win in the Valley, especially without Lance Jones, Trent Brown, and Ben Harvey.

He is elite offensively and can single-handedly win you games, but I will be curious how his post-college career unfolds. His upside seems limited if he can't guard guys like Terry Roberts or Luqman Lundy, let alone NBA level talent.
