It is clear AJ Green spent all of his time off last season on offense.

Pieces are there, but just unpredictable.

Better to play on the road this week than in February after a team has a chance to figure it out.

I'm thrilled we're getting the trip to Peoria out of the way, we always seem to have trouble there and we're in a much better place than they are right now.

This didn’t age well hahaha.

Guessing most turned off Evansville/SIU in the 2nd half while the other games started. Shamar Givance was a man possessed and almost carried Evansville to a win. Had an easy 31 and I thought they could have gone to him more. Was happy every time he didn't shoot or go to the rim.

Luckily for SIU a 32-15 first half lead held up and Marcus Domask is good. Not gonna complain about a road win in the Valley, especially without Lance Jones, Trent Brown, and Ben Harvey.

He is elite offensively and can single-handedly win you games, but I will be curious how his post-college career unfolds. His upside seems limited if he can't guard guys like Terry Roberts or Luqman Lundy, let alone NBA level talent.

Silly me expecting us to show up in our first Valley game. Fun fact: We are 3-9 in our last 12 Valley openers.

Shocked that BU finally beat a team more talented than itself...this also puts to bed any remaining at large hopes for the Panthers

Yep. The 'thread a needle' path that still existed got clipped last night.
