Yeah, I'm not to worried about having talent, but the makeup of MSU's roster has much to be determined yet. I would think Black, Patterson, Haney, Clay , and probably Sharp would all be back. Sharp was a major loss for this years team via injury. Then we've had 3 prep players who've basically not played/rs the past two years that are real mysteries at this point in 6'5 Skylar Wicks, 6'5 Raphe Ayres, and 6'7 Melvyn Ebonkoli. We have the two post players in 6'10 Tata, and 7'0 Carpers as possibles, with Carper's having given some decent sub minutes the latter half of this year, but neither projects as the likely starter and I doubt Tata's return.
Then we have 3 frosh signed[ Hampton/Dunn/Benson], and I really like all 3 . All 3 are between 6'6 and 6'8 and each has a little different skill set/profile. Benson should get pt immediately in the post , and Dunn is a high motor , physical forward, while Hampton more a 3/2 wing type. While it's a full roster presently, I expect some churn and at least another add or two.

We'll have veteran guards and a long, athletic frontcourt either way, so I don't see as big a drop as might be expected losing Prim and possibly Mosley. Top 3-4 I doubt [ if Mosley is gone] but I can see us in the 4-7 range w/o.

Bradley should be a top 3 team depending on how transfers play out and assuming the core is back. Roberts, Mast, Leons and Hickman is a great group of guys to build around.

Wardle also needs to get it together and play a complete year. Please no more whiffing in November and December. No more post-game press conference excuses about inexperience. The blame is always on the players and never on the coaching staff. This will be his 8th year. Never won CoY. Never finished higher than 4th. Next year we will see if he is an average coach who caught lightning in a bottle a couple of times or someone who is capable of building from scratch and competing in the top of this league.

They are going to miss Mikey Howell in a big way. They are in desperate need of a point guard so Terry can play off the ball.

Hopefully Ville can get right over the off-season. 36% from 3 for the year isn't going to cut it when your role is the sharpshooter and you are a below average defender with limited ability to get to the hoop.

Also, how on earth does Jayson Kent get the start against Loyola at Arch Madness? He's a 26% 3 point shooter with 91 3PA for the year. How does that happen? Last year he shot 27%. Hopefully someone like Zek can step up and compete for those minutes.

Grievances now aired, this is a very solid team.

Bradley finished tied for third in 2019-20.

Bradley won’t miss Mikey Howell at all. He is a D2 level player. God Bless him but if they can’t find someone better than him then there are real issues.

You're right, tied for 3rd and ended up as the 4th seed with tiebreakers.

Mikey had his moments, both good and bad. Never much of a scoring threat but I think he came into his own during the year and was serviceable in his role. My point was less about him and more about needing a 30+ minute PG who can distribute and is occasionally a threat to drive so that Roberts can play the two more often.

Looks like Mosley might be returning to Missouri State, if so I'd probably put them in the contender tier with Drake, Murray, and Bradley

I'm not sure I'm ready to put Drake in the top tier yet. All depends on whether Wilkins and Penn come back. Pretty sure Sturtz will. Brodie could also come back, but unless he dedicates himself completely to basketball in the off-season, he will be a non-factor.

I guess I'm assuming all your guys come back and all ours (Green, Phyfe, Carter) leave. Lol.
