I would say mainly becasue he was not the best pitcher in the valley this year.

Look at the full year stats. Dufek was far better. I'm sure Jonas wouldn't trade the titles CU won or the win over Lowell last week or the most outstanding player of the mvc tourney for the pitcher of the year award, but I think he deserved it.

Well you would be wrong then, I am pretty sure that the Valley of the year awards are based on the Valley season so everything is measured against common opponents.

If you take the whole body of work, the entire season, Creighton, "The Class of the Valley" just today played its second top 50 team, others played a tougher schedule, Creighton, "The Class of the Valley" played an easier schedule, pretty simple.

Wow, you'd be alone in your clear bias.

Apparently you forgot how the award works. Beating up on 200 RPI teams to inflate your stats does not elevate you to Pitcher of the Year status. Good effort though.
