Seems odd that this is only surfacing now. I wonder when the staff discovered this, while being recruited, only within the last couple weeks, somewhere in between?

You have to think it was after he came to school as I don't see too many staffs going for a one year juco.

I think you have to figure it as he was worth getting just for one year, WHICH HE WAS! If he doesn't get the waiver, I still say he was worth it. He was instrumental in delivering a conference championship, period, and he set the tone for upcoming players as far as raw, relentless effort is concerned.

There are many posters on this board who are not known for their basketball IQ, their understanding of logic, their understanding of how college athletics really work, or their ability to comprehend the written English language.

I don't know all the details, but it would seem to me that if he was unable to play due to a medical condition, and was unable to attend school due to lack of an athletic scholarship, that an additional year would be appropriate.
