One of the player's uncle, drove from Kokomo to see his freshman nephew play, had the tool I needed to cut the cable as the hoist was jam. His nephew played at AAMU. I'm thankful that we support under funded school who help young athletes realize a dream, a college education. If one game or even 10 games help educate America without a hand out but a handup, I'm for it. Shame on the privileged to deny their access, just another discrimination

Nobody is talking about keeping scholarships away from these basketball players. We are talking about if these schools are worth playing and if they should be division 1. For the last seven years this conference has finished last in the RPI (official conferences). These teams would be better suit to move down to division 2 to better compete. This isn't the YMCA and everyone should get a chance. This is major division 1 basketball the Valley plays and until Evansville fans realize this, you will be stuck in mediocrity.

The fact of the matter is that schools in the SWAC are at the bottom of the barrel and if this conference cares about its own finances, namely in the form of NCAA bids, they should be avoided at all costs.

It isn't "just another discrimination" either, but maybe with enough race baiting you will scare people away from talking about it. That is the goal of that particular strategy, is it not?

Also, Creighton has beaten some good teams, but they have played 2 of their 6 games against Big South schools......the Big South is rated #29 out of 31 conferences per RPI.
Point is that all teams play "lesser competition" from time to time.
