It was a nice performance, but you can go back in history and see a number of 40+ point, 20+ point rebound games in the Valley.

Thot both teams played better than their norm today, but Jays were simply red-red hot.
An easy and simple prediction: neither team will play anywhere near as good in St Louis if they meet in the finals, and not just because it would be the 3rd game in three days.

in my opinion, you can't really judge WSU's performance after this game. they simply ran into a buzzsaw. That CU team would make the final four. Obviously, i don't think we will make the final four, but we played like it on this one day.
ya, you can argue they lost Doug a few times for open shots. However, he was also absolutely owning anybody that guarded him on the block, was draining cross over fade away 3s, hitting and 1's, etc. The guy scored 41 points on 18 shots and his only misses were three 3 pt attempts. Nobody was going to stop him on this afternoon.

And It was nice to see it be an exciting, fun to watch game, in which both teams played well. I know its easy for me to say since we won, but really I thought it was just one of the best college basketball games of the year in the whole country, because of everything that was on the line. I think it was good for the Valley and huge for Creighton obviously. Both those teams showed the country what our league is about, and when Armstead had blood all over his face and looked a little woozy and didnt even sit out for one second, that was one of my favorite parts to the game. That was a tough team we beat, and it took all of our guys giving it everything they had to win that game. I think its safe to say both teams left everything on the floor yesterday.
