Better than...
Marshall? (Final 4)
Giacoletti? (Sweet 16)
Jacobson? (Sweet 16)
Lansing? (Round 1)
Hinson? (Well...)
You're forgetting...
Jim Les (Sweet 16)
Chris Lowery (Sweet 16)
I think a body of work over the course of a season is more indicative of good coaching than getting hot in March, although I might prefer the latter as a fan. Certainly the best coaches can do both.
I'd rank Geno's resume behind Marshall and Jacobson, but that's not to say the others aren't good coaches. Giacoletti made the S16 by inheriting Bogut at Utah, but they fell pretty far after that. He did a nice job at Eastern Washington though. Lansing won a conference tournament as a 3 seed, and has had marginal success since. Hinson has a lot of upper division finishes but he needs to win a title or make the Dance. Yeah, I'm probably biased.
Looking at the box score, the minutes played do appear to indicate that the lineups reflected what we'll see in the regular season from Bradley. I am a little discouraged after seeing that. I thought the Bahamas trip would put us ahead of the curve.
