Yep, at the final media time out the fouls were 18-15. I'd say that was pretty evenly called.
UNI had more fast break, points in the paint and 2nd chance points than VCU.
The last lead VCU had was 17-15 with 5:4 left in the first half. UNI tied the game at 17 less than a minute later and never looked back. VCU tied the game at 44 with 12:13 left in the game but UNI hit a 3 on their next possession and the game was never closer than that the rest of the game. UNI's average lead in the second half was 5.

Well said! Those stats back up what I saw as well. Who does UNI loose this spring? Mitchell, Buss, and Tuttle are going to be a nice group. A solid supporting cast will be there as well.
The only seniors on the roster are Chip Rank and Matt Morrison
Chip is a solid player. He doesn't do anything better than average (though he is a decent shooter). His contributions to the team are more of a coach on the floor. He is uses solid fundamentals and position but isn't irreplaceable.
Matt Morrison isn't a real contributor. He played in 14 games last season before tearing his ham string, however with Washpun and Morgan on the floor this year he won't see many minutes other than what he saw today.
Mitchell, Buss, and Tuttle are juniors (along with Singleton who needs to get more minutes than he does) and a couple walk ons.
Washpun and Matt Bohannon are sophomores.
The rest of the team is freshman - Morgan and Freidman (who likely won't see many more minutes this year) have both started, and 3 redshirts who could be good for UNI if they put some weight on 2 of them (Koch the younger and another 3/4 player and if Robert Knarr can recover from another ACL tear. He was a 40% 3pt shooter in HS but has issues with ACL)
Tansfer Paul Jespersen will be a Sophomore when he is eligible next season.
