I think that's a more fair statement, I don't think it's as clear cut a picture in favor of Baker as rlh04d tried to paint. While his statement about pgs is probably accurate as there just isn't much to impress around the league behind FV and JO, there are a number of combo guards who it would be very arguable to try to elevate one as clearly superior. They all are quite good and I'm sure each fan base can make their arguments in favor of one or another. Personally I like Beane's potential above the others, but he has to show that level of consistency that would separate him first.
Marcus with his injuries this year never really settled in , yet his stats were similar prior to going out completely. Postseason awards tend to go either to veterans, players on winning teams, or statistical leaders, which is as fair and accurate way to separate close arguments as any I guess. In that regard Baker, Lemon, Odum, VanVleet, and Ballentine would be my guess on who get the nods one way or another.
