Sadly, I don't foresee a good year for mid-majors. This bracket is a BCS paradise. 2 of the 5-6 non-BCS/BE/AAC teams capable of a Sweet-16 run, IMO -- Virginia Commonwealth and Stephen F Austin -- conveniently get paired together.
Biggest upset I see today is North Dakota State, so nothing too special. Dayton, New Mexico State and Harvard should keep their games close to the end.
The dozen upsets in the 12-32 conference tourneys really took the potential out of 1st Round upsets this year.
