To what question?'
mvcfan wrote:They can't even get close in the league , can't stand to be DOMINATED by four games (and 20 pointes per game) so they resort to an argument that WSU has a better team but not they don't have individual players who can play with their players.
What? Put down the tequila, and attempt that sentence again please.
mvcfan wrote:The same stance for COY. Gregg Marshall's teams dominates the league but he isn't as good a coach.
He's a great coach, but there are other deserving coaches out there too. In support of said coaches, nobody is dismissing Marshall, they're just supporting the other deserving candidates.

The league isn't even in the same conversation? Your sentence structure is just awful. How many shots have you done at this point?
mvcfan wrote:The National media knows that the MVC is THE SHOCKERS vs. the rest of the league.
It's every team vs. the rest of the league. It's Bradley vs. the rest of the league... it's Northern Iowa vs. the rest of the league. Nobody gets to add up wins with another team to determine final standings. Illinois State isn't holding hands across the finish line with Loyola to try and get 1st place.
mvcfan wrote:I don't like putting the whole league into this conversation, because there are some fair posters. However, there are not very many so it is what it is.
I'm sure said posters are relieved to not be in the path of your wrath.
mvcfan wrote:It's also a contrast regarding how the national media see this conference. It's really a sad commentary on a conference who used to be Top 6-7 and now is barely in the Top 15.
Finally I'll agree with you. Yes, the Valley used to be much, much better than it is now. Collectively we all have to do our part. But don't forget Wichita State spent many years being one of the whipping boys in the Valley. Do you really think Wichita State is going to rise into some Power 5 Powerhouse basketball school after this run? I highly doubt it. Most likely the cycle will continue and another will rise up to take your place. We've seen Wichita without FVV this year and it wasn't pretty. Next year is an important year in Shockerland, and Marshall will go a long way in proving a COY status without FVV and Baker in the backcourt if he keeps the ship afloat and wins again.
